Material: 925 Sterling Silver
A Beautiful textured sterling silver ring that was hand sculpted out of wax and cast using recycled silver. The organically shaped ring showcases an unfinished area with multiple planes in contrast with the rest of the ring's smooth high polished areas. The contrast between the smooth and unfinished area lets the viewer and wearer take note of the shape and tactile qualities of the piece.
At Allers Atelier pieces are created using a combination of recycled metal and new metal. All 925 sterling silver scraps from my own studio are saved and recycled as part of the lost wax casting process or reused when manufacturing other pieces.
All pieces are handmade by Anneke in her home studio located in Waterdown, Ontario.
